This restaurant does it all, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. The service was second to none, I felt as though I was an old friend and this was my first experience. The food was indescribable to the point I had to ask if they had a Michelin star, I can't believe they don't, Mahle House Restaurant should. Highly recommend you come here for the food and the experience.

Mahle House exceeded our expectations for my husband's birthday dinner. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly special, remembering the occasion with a warm welcome. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The wine list and cocktails were excellent, with wonderful non-alcoholic options as well. My husband's ribeye was cooked to perfection, and my short rib was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend Mahle House for any special occasion or date night. A memorable experience all around!

Our boss picked this restaurant for a staff function and we were not disappointed! The service and food were impeccable! They had put together a special menu with several options to choose from.I had chosen the beef carpaccio, the pan seared 15oz ribeye and the peanut butter pie. Also the cocktail menu was diverse and very well put together. Everything was fantastic! I've eaten here many times before and will stay a customer for years to come.

Another wonderful dinner at the Mahle House! We love that this historic home has been preserved and is now a restaurant. The food was high-quality, the staff were friendly, authentic, and provided a superb service, especially Lisa?, Lara?. We noticed one of our go-to desserts was no longer available and the chef took time out from the kitchen to come and talk to us. The sticky toffee pudding and crème brûlée more than made up for it. I would have taken more pictures but I got so caught up in the food, I kept forgetting until after I cleaned the plate. Totally worth a trip up from Victoria to visit this hidden gem.

Visually stunning, imaginative and delicious. The Wednesday adventure menu was by for the best meal we have had on Vancouver Island in many years.. a 5 course offering featuring different plates for each diner was not only an amazing way to try new flavors and push people outside of their food comfort zone, but also created an amazing experience with 4 of us sharing each plate working out to 20 different dishes to try throughout the meal. Drinks were fantastic as well. Excellent whiskey sour and old fashioned, along with their signature cocktails were all great quality. The service was top tier, with each team member taking the time to describe each dish in elaborate detail and always smiling and helpful. 100% RECOMMEND DOING THE WEDNESDAY ADVENTURE MENU!!!!!!!!

Best dining experience on Vancouver Island. These guys deliver a very upscale dining experience. Travelled extensively and experienced some of the best eating to be had including Michelin starred restaurants on numerous continents. This is an excellent restaurant with outstanding service and food. Don’t let the quirky Farmhouse exterior fool you. There is some serious gastronomy happening here. If you want an outstanding dining experience you don’t have to leave the Island for then try Mahle House.

This is an absolutely wonderful dining experience. Wednesday tasting menu, 5 courses and the two of us had different ones! So we got to taste 10 creations from the Michelin Star trained chef. Wonderful evening, super friendly staff, lovely comfortable space, just all around excellent.

My husband and I ate here on 10/7/23 to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. This restaurant truly goes above and beyond to make their patrons feel welcome. The staff were checking in with us frequently, and even gave us a few small surprises during our meal that made our experience extra special. If you get the opportunity to order dessert from Mahle House, I would recommend anything that allows you to try their homemade chocolate truffles. I haven’t had a chocolate truffle as good as theirs since I travelled to Switzerland in 2014 (I can be a bit of a chocolate snob)—MH’s was so mouth watering good, I highly recommend! Eat here if you want a top notch dining experience.

Always a special place to experience incredible food in a lovely atmosphere. Went for the Wednesday "Adventure in Dining" 5-course meal. It was exceptional. We were served by Craig, who was very welcoming and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend this local jewel of a restaurant of you are looking for something special. 5 stars.

We went for our first time for my bestfriends 30th birthday and impressed is an understatement. The cocktails were perfection, the amuse bouche was delicious, I could've licked the plate the appetizers were so good and our mains were to die for. We had our wedding at the Mahle House on July 29, 2023; which was fitting as my wife and I had our first dinner together at this restaurant 13 years years prior.

Many thanks to Tara and Stephen and their team; as they made our wedding day amazing! We had our wedding service and photos in the spectacular garden, and only needed to provide chairs to complete a beautiful venue.

We had Champagne service before and after the ceremony followed by an amazing four course dinner in the dining room.

We had 55 guests attend our wedding and it was special to here all the great comments about the service and the amazing food. Anyone looking for an elegant venue for your special occasion we highly recommend the Mahle House. Best experience ever!
